I had this idea for a very simple product discovery site where there are only 10 spots on the homepage. It is called 10bid.lol. The idea is pretty simple: products can claim one of the 10 spots, and to take a spot you need to offer more than the current amount for it. So unlike a normal directory with hundreds or thousands of products, there are always only 10 visible.
