About

Native iOS app (Swift): take a photo of a meal and get calories and macros. Live on the App Store since May 18, 2026. The app is finished, with onboarding, a paywall and weekly/monthly/yearly subscriptions set up.Sales (App Store Connect): June 2026 $140, July $20, August $0, September $0. Total since launch: $160. To be straight about it: right now it is not making money. Traffic was organic only, ads were never run. Running costs are about $5/month.Calorie tracking is one of the strongest subscription niches, and the funnel is ready for someone who knows paid traffic. The new owner gets the app moved to their developer account, the full source code, the RevenueCat project and the backend.App Store: https://apps.apple.com/th/app/ai-calorie-counter-food-scan/id6749312252Who uses it: People who want to lose weight or track what they eat. A few paid subscriptions came from organic installs after launch (5 transactions in RevenueCat for June-July).Tech stack: Swift (native iOS), RevenueCat for subscriptions, backend on VULT, food recognition through Google API.Challenges: Without marketing it earns close to nothing: revenue dropped once the launch traffic faded. Calorie counters are a crowded category, so a buyer needs a traffic plan. Why I'm selling: I'm selling to focus on other projects. The product is finished and works, costs about $5/month, and has never had any paid marketing. It suits someone who runs paid traffic or does ASO and wants to skip months of development.Handover: The app moves to your developer account. You also get the full source code, the RevenueCat project and backend access. I will walk you through the setup.
