persistent memory is the interesting part here. most chatbot "memory" is just stuffing previous messages into context and hoping the window holds. what's the actual architecture? vector db with embeddings? some kind of episodic/semantic split? curious how you handle retrieval relevance decay over time and whether memory gets pruned or compressed. also wondering about the privacy model, who has access to stored memories and what's the export/delete story. the companion space is crowded but most offerings have garbage recall past a session boundary so execution here matters more than the pitch
