About

Free, open-source Mac app with tasks, focus timer, notes and calendar in the notch. Local data, works with Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor.Black Hole is a free, open-source Mac app that keeps your working day in the notch. Hover the notch or press Option-N and a workspace drops out with today's tasks, a focus timer, a daily notepad and today's calendar. Unfinished tasks roll over to tomorrow. While the focus timer runs, the notch becomes a live island with progress and time left. Calendar events from iCloud, Google and Outlook appear with a meeting countdown and one-click join. Spotify controls and weekly insights are included. An optional MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor manage tasks, focus and notes. Everything is stored locally, with no accounts and no tracking. MIT licensed. Requires macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon.GitHub: https://github.com/vanshpatelx/blackhole
