About

CareTail is a polished Android pet care tracker that helps pet owners organize pet profiles, care reminders, health diary notes, documents, and simple care reports in one calm local-first app.

It is built for pet owners who currently keep pet care details scattered across notes, calendars, paper records, and photos. CareTail gives them a cleaner place to track each pet’s routines, reminders, care history, and important records.

Core features:

- Pet profiles for cats, dogs, and other pets

- Care reminders for routines like medication, grooming, food, vaccines, and vet visits

- Health diary entries for mood, appetite, energy, symptoms, and notes

- Documents & records section for vet records and care documents

- Local-first storage on device

- Optional Google Sign-In prepared for future backup/sync work

- Premium upgrade model for more pets, reminders, diary entries, documents, and care reports

- Google Play Billing subscription setup

- Calm, polished Jetpack Compose UI

CareTail is not a veterinary or diagnostic app. It is focused on personal pet care organization and record keeping.

The app is being sold as a complete Android app/codebase/product asset. It is suitable for a buyer who wants a production-tested pet care app foundation with monetization, Google Play readiness, and a clear roadmap for future improvements.

The current version is best suited for an indie maker, Android developer, pet-tech founder, or small studio that wants to continue improving and marketing the product instead of starting from zero.

local-first makes total sense, the padding and type scale on those profile cards look immaculate.

local-first and android-only limits the addressable market pretty hard
