dawntab

About

dawntab is a browser start page for people who want a quiet home base instead of a busy dashboard.Open a new tab and you get a search bar wired to Google, DuckDuckGo, Perplexity, YouTube and Wikipedia - plus any custom engine you add, including a multi-search that fires one query at several sites at once. Below it sit your own link groups, three to five tasks for today, a reading list, and a scratch note. Five themes, light and dark.Behind the start page is a library of 110+ single-purpose web tools: JSON / YAML / CSV converters and viewers, Base32 / Base58 / Base64 / hex encoders, JWT and URL parsers, a QR generator and reader, image conversion (WebP, PNG, JPG, ICO), regex tester, text diff, hash and checksum, cron explainer, unit converters, a PDF toolkit, a Pomodoro timer, and a set of Vietnam-specific utilities (VietQR, bank code lookup, licence plate lookup, electricity bill calculator, lunar calendar, diacritics stripping).Everything runs client-side. No account, no backend, nothing leaves the browser - links, tasks, reading list and notes all live in localStorage. Analytics is a single privacy-friendly page-view counter.Built with SvelteKit 2 / Svelte 5, Tailwind v4 and adapter-static, deployed as 119 static pages on Cloudflare Pages, so hosting costs effectively nothing. Bilingual Vietnamese / English, with tool routes on Vietnamese ASCII-safe slugs for search. A small MV3 browser extension adds one-click save-to-reading-list.I built it as my own start page and it kept growing into a tool library. Sharing it here - and open to offers if someone wants to take the domain, the code and the SEO surface further.Asking around $3,000, negotiable, for the domain, the codebase and the content.
