DealSignal is a working SaaS platform that helps acquisition investors — search funds, independent sponsors, lower-middle-market PE, corporate development teams — find UK private companies worth acquiring, before everyone else does.An investor describes their acquisition thesis in plain English. DealSignal turns it into structured criteria, scores every company in the database against it with a fully deterministic 0-100 breakdown (never AI-computed, always auditable), and narrates the results in plain language. It also detects and explains deal-relevant changes — financial performance shifts, ownership changes, new charges — grounded entirely in official filings.WHAT'S BUILT AND VERIFIED (not a mockup — every item below was tested live):- Companies House integration: 97 real UK companies synced across software, healthcare, logistics, retail, construction, food & beverage, legal, and recruitment — profiles, officers, PSC, charges, and filing history.- Real financial extraction: a purpose-built iXBRL parser pulls revenue, EBITDA, margins, and leverage directly out of filed accounts documents.- Deterministic matching + scoring engine, fully unit tested (125 passing tests).- AI layer (Anthropic Claude): natural-language thesis parsing, narrative summaries, risk summaries, diligence questions, and full investment memos — every generation cached, AI never does arithmetic.- Real Stripe billing: hosted Checkout, a signature-verified webhook, and a Billing Portal, wired to four pricing tiers.
