TESTED UNDER TOUGH CONDITIONS- Cross-border: real sessions between Perth, Australia and mainland China at 400–470 ms round-trip time, streaming 2560×1600 at about 150 fps with hardware HEVC decoding.- Long sessions: long-duration sessions tested over the ~400 ms Perth–mainland China link.- High latency and packet loss: automated tests simulate ~400 ms round-trip links with packet loss.- Mobile networks: the Android controller was tested on mobile data. A keyframe-loss loop seen when round-trip time jumped from 42 ms to 889 ms was diagnosed and fixed.- Automatic recovery: media stalls are detected within 3 seconds and recovered automatically, with no action from the user (covered by automated tests).- Hard networks: UPnP / NAT-PMP / PCP port mapping (UPnP verified on a real consumer router), multi-port hole punching, and ZeroTier routes. Video always flows directly between devices and is never relayed through a server.- Headless and locked machines: a virtual display is created when no monitor is attached, and the original display layout is restored afterwards. Ctrl+Alt+Del works on the Windows lock screen.- Coordinator capacity: a single coordinator node (4 vCPU / 8 GB VM) held 16,151 simulated devices online at once and accepted about 600 logins per second. At steady state it used 30–40% of one CPU core, about 1.4 GB of memory and about 3.3 Mbps of upload (roughly 26 bytes per second per device). The load-generating machine, not the server, set the limit of the test.- Mixed platforms: Windows ↔ Mac in both directions, plus Android and iOS/iPadOS controllers, tested on the developer's own devices (the iOS app is currently in App Store review; Android is in beta).- Fast connections: about 3.6 seconds from clicking Connect to the first picture on a GPU-equipped Windows host.QUALITY- 3,000+ automated tests across Node.js, iOS, Android, Windows and macOS.- Every merge passes test gates on real Windows and macOS machines. Android and iPad are tested on the developer's own devices plus automated and emulator tests.
