About

Flyn turns a long URL into a short branded link you control, then tells you the truth about what happened to it.Why I built itEvery shortener I tried counted link previews, security scanners and crawlers as clicks. Share a link in Slack and the unfurl bot fetches it before a single human sees it, and that lands in the same number you report to a client.Flyn classifies traffic at redirect time and keeps bots in their own counter, next to the human one. Nothing is silently added, nothing is silently discarded. AI assistant referrals like ChatGPT and Perplexity get their own channel instead of being dumped into Direct, which is where most analytics put them. Classification runs after the redirect is already served, so the visitor pays no latency for it.What it doesCustom domains, so links carry your brand rather than mineQR codes, static and dynamic, with logo and brand coloursEditable destinations, so a printed QR or a bio link never goes deadRouting by country and device, plus deep links that survive Instagram and Facebook in-app browsersPassword protection, expiry dates, click limits with a fallback URLConversion tracking and retargeting pixelsDestination safety in layers: category blocklists, Google Safe Browsing, redirect-chain resolution and page-content classificationFor developersREST API, webhooks, a Zapier app, a Chrome extension, and an MCP server at flyn.to/mcp so AI assistants can create and analyse links directly.Free plan is permanent, 25 new links a month, no card. Pro is $12/month, or $9/month billed annually.
