About

A free-weight training reference and workout tracker in one. 158 exercise pages, each with a looping demonstration clip and supporting copy, plus a full workout builder that installs to a phone and runs with no signal. Built as a web app, no app store, no subscription infrastructure to inherit. Most exercise libraries show you the shape of a lift. This one names the muscle that should be doing the work and the ones that should only be steadying you. Every page separates prime movers from stabilisers as three distinct fields, not one blurred list, so a reader knows what they should be feeling on the next set. That single idea runs through the data model, the filters and the copy.Offline and installableInstalls to a home screen and runs with no signalNothing logged needs a network. A set is written to the device and syncs upThe entire library can be held offline on one press in settings, about 32 MBService worker, cache names carry the build id so a deploy invalidates atomicallyThe workout builder at /train/Build a workout by muscle: pick the muscle, the lifts, set reps, sets and restLog each set against a weightShows what you lifted last time for that exerciseA rest countdown that works with the phone face down: the last three seconds beep, zero buzzes, and the screen stays awake only while a lift or a rest is on itFavourites, per-exercise notes (seat height, pin number, a cue, kept against the lift rather than the workout) and full session historyA finished session cannot be edited. It can be kept or deleted, never quietly changed, and that is enforced in the database rather than in the appAccounts and dataSigned out is a fully supported way to use it. Nothing leaves the deviceAn optional free account syncs history, favourites, notes and units across devicesThe account holds no name, gender, height or bodyweightDelete the account from inside the app and it takes the data with itRow-level security enabled and forced on every table, policies scoped to authenticated users, composite foreign keys so a row cannot be attached to another user's session, and a recorded isolation proofTwo-level privacy: analytics run in memory and store nothing on the device until consent is given, and both levels are declared in code
