Project description:Invoodu is a privacy-focused desktop AI assistant built natively for macOS and Windows, giving users a powerful AI workspace with multi-provider support, screenshots, file analysis, voice transcription, and deep desktop integration.Invoodu supports multiple AI providers including LM Studio, OpenAI, Ollama, Claude, OpenRouter, and DeepSeek, with per-provider model selection and live model-list refresh. Users can maintain multiple conversations with locally stored chat history, with Markdown and LaTeX support in AI responses.One of Invoodu's standout features is its screen-capture invisibility. The main window, along with every popup, dialog, and menu it opens, can be excluded from screen recording and screen sharing. This works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, OBS, and native operating-system screen recorders.The app also includes Always on Top, keeping Invoodu visible above other applications, and Don't Steal Focus, allowing users to interact with Invoodu without taking keyboard or mouse focus away from the application they are currently using.Invoodu provides extensive customization of its desktop presence. Users can change the running app/Dock icon to a custom icon, and the selected icon is remembered across restarts. The app also includes a menu-bar/tray icon with controls for showing, hiding, collapsing/restoring, and quitting the application, plus a global keyboard shortcut for instantly summoning Invoodu.Screenshots are built directly into the workflow, with one-click full-screen capture and screenshot + crop functionality. Captured images can be sent directly into the AI conversation.Invoodu also supports attaching virtually any file type. Images can be sent to vision-capable models, while text, code, CSV, JSON, PDF, Word, and Excel files can be processed directly within the application.For voice workflows, Invoodu can record the user's microphone, the other call participant's audio, or both, with explicit consent required when recording the other participant. Transcription runs entirely on-device using a local Whisper model, so audio is never sent to a cloud service.
