iQuote is a working construction software platform built from 36 years of real-world residential building experience.The idea came from a problem I have seen throughout my career: homeowners often begin building or renovation projects without a clear understanding of likely costs, while builders can spend many unpaid hours preparing detailed quotes for projects that may never proceed.iQuote is designed to improve that journey for both sides.The first homeowner-facing tier is built and publicly available. A homeowner can enter information about their project and work through a guided process designed to give them an early understanding of likely construction costs before progressing to the formal quoting stage.The basic homeowner experience is free. The purpose is to remove friction at the beginning of the construction journey, improve the quality of information available to homeowners and ultimately reduce wasted quoting time for builders.The platform goes beyond a simple construction calculator. It has been developed around a broader workflow covering the journey from early project understanding and estimating toward professional builder quoting and the later stages of a residential construction project.A further tier is currently being developed around this wider builder and project journey.iQuote has already been built into a working software platform rather than remaining simply an idea or concept. The public product can be viewed and tested through the project website.I am now looking for the right buyer or strategic partner with the resources, technical capability and market reach to take what has been built and develop it to its full potential.The opportunity may suit a construction technology company, estimating or quoting software provider, building marketplace, materials or supplier network, or another strategic buyer looking to expand within residential construction technology.I am open to serious discussions regarding acquisition of the platform and associated intellectual property.
