The actual remote for my LG TV spent half its life lost in the couch, so I wrote an Android app to replace it. That was supposed to be a weekend thing. It's now got a touchpad mode, widgets, themes, a keyboard mode for TV search fields, and a power button that falls back to the phone's IR blaster when the TV isn't reachable over Wi-Fi.
