About

Maestro (maestrochess.com) is a finished, live chess-improvement web app. It finds the mistakes a player keeps repeating in their own games and turns them into drills that come back until they stop happening. What it does• Free Blunder Scan: enter a Chess.com or Lichess username and the last 12 games are analysed by Stockfish 18 in the visitor's own browser in about a minute, with no sign-up• Move-by-move Game Review with accuracy, nine move grades and written commentary• Blunder Bank: the player's own mistakes as puzzles, on a spaced-repetition schedule• Chess DNA: a style profile on six axes and an estimated rating• Play the engine at strengths from about 700 to 3500 Elo, or play people online on server-kept clocks• Opening academy, endgame drills, annotated master games, daily puzzle and Puzzle Rush• Installable phone app that opens offlineBusiness• Subscription billing live through Paddle as merchant of record: Pro at $10/month or $100/year• All engine analysis runs in the user's browser, so extra users cost almost nothing; the whole product runs for about $45 a month• Admin dashboard: MRR, churn, sign-ups, countries, acquisition and a scan-to-paid funnel• Honest status: launched July 2026 with no marketing yet; 7 people besides me have signed up, and there are no paying subscribers yetTechReact 18 + TypeScript (Vite), Node.js + Express, SQLite, WebSockets, Stockfish 18 (WebAssembly), Docker + Caddy on one VPS behind Cloudflare, and 467 automated tests running in CI.What's includedThe domain, the full source code with its git history and all IP, the live deployment, the Paddle setup (moved to your own account), the Search Console and Bing properties, brand assets, a technical overview, runbooks, and 30 days of handover support. Why I'm sellingI built the product I set out to build. Growing it is a distribution job, best done by someone with an audience: a chess creator, a coach or a chess-education business.
