About

Manzoma ERP - Full Startup Acquisition Description πŸš€πŸ’Ž

1. Startup Description

What does your project do, and how did you start it? Manzoma is a high-performance, production-ready ERP and POS (Point of Sale) system designed to solve the critical issue of internet dependency in retail. It is a hybrid solution (Web + Desktop) that allows businesses to operate 100% offline while maintaining seamless cloud synchronization.

I started this project as a Full-Stack System Architect to address the massive gap in the MENA retail market: the lack of modern, affordable, and "Offline-First" systems that can handle complex inventory and prevent employee theft. After 4 months of intensive development, the system was launched and successfully battle-tested by a large-scale retail client.

2. Key Highlights

- Annual Revenue: ~$250 (Early commercial stage).

- Annual Profit: ~$140 (High-margin business).

- Churn Rate: 0% (High retention with the first enterprise client).

- Business Margin: ~90% (Low overhead costs).

- Processed Transaction Volume (GMV): Over $31,250 (1.5 Million EGP).

- Inventory Management: Handling 3,000+ SKUs seamlessly.

- Unique Feature: Native WhatsApp receipt automation without official API costs.

3. Team

Who is doing the job behind your startup, and what are their responsibilities? The project is currently a solo-venture founded and developed by Kareem Khalil, a Full-Stack System Architect. I handle the entire lifecycle of the product, including:

- System Architecture & Database Design.

- Frontend Development (React 19) & Desktop Packaging (Electron).

- Backend Engineering (Node.js/Express/Prisma).

- DevOps & Deployment (Vercel, VPS management).

---

4. Tech Stack

What technologies and frameworks did you use, and for what?

- Frontend: React 19 with Vite and Tailwind CSS for a lightning-fast, modern user interface.

- Desktop App: Electron to provide a native desktop experience on Windows and macOS.

- Backend: Node.js and Express for high-concurrency API handling.

- ORM & Database: Prisma ORM with SQLite for local storage (Offline mode) and PostgreSQL for cloud synchronization.

- Integrations: `whatsapp-web.js` for automated billing and

- Lucide React for modern iconography.

5. Marketing and Growth

What were your main growth activities, and what were their results? To date, growth has been strictly organic and word-of-mouth. I focused on building a "Perfect Product" first. The result was a successful pilot with a large retail store that processed over 1.5M EGP in sales. This pilot proved the system's stability and market fit. The product is now ready for a full-scale marketing push (Paid Ads, Direct Sales, SEO).

6. Revenue and Profit

- GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume): $31,250+ processed through the system.

- ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue): ~$105 from maintenance contracts.

- CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost): $0 (All growth has been organic).

- Profitability: The business is highly profitable due to the low hosting costs (Supabase + VPS).

7. Return on Investment

What is the payback period, and how can buyers achieve it? A buyer can achieve a full ROI within 6-12 month by implementing a basic B2B sales strategy.

- How to achieve it: By targeting the thousands of retail stores in the MENA region or globally. Selling just 10-20 licenses at a standard ERP price ($500-$1000 each) would cover the acquisition cost immediately. The system is also ready to be converted into a multi-tenant SaaS for recurring monthly revenue.

8. Startup Assets

What’s included in the sale? Describe every asset with numbers:

- Full Source Code: 100% ownership of the React, Electron, and Node.js codebase.

- Production Environment: Ready-to-use VPS setup and Supabase configuration.

- Documentation: Complete technical and user documentation.

9 Risks

What can go wrong, and how can buyers minimize them?

- Risk: Competition from global giants like Shopify.

- Mitigation: Manzoma wins on Offline-First capability and Local WhatsApp Integration, which are features giants often lack or charge heavily for.

- Risk: Technical maintenance.

- Mitigation: The code is built on a modern, standard stack (React/Node) making it very easy to hire developers for future updates.

---

10. Summary

Why buyers should buy your project? Manzoma is a Strategic Asset. You are not just buying a project; you are buying a battle-tested technology that has already handled millions in transactions. The hard engineering work of building a complex offline-sync engine is finished. With the founder heading to military service, this is a rare opportunity to acquire a high-quality, scalable ERP system at a fraction of its development cost. It is a "Business-in-a-Box" ready for global expansion.
