About

MindMolder is a fully-built, offline-first mind-mapping app for students, writers, and knowledge workers. It features an interactive SVG canvas with pan/zoom, draggable nodes, a radial auto-layout, and a full undo/redo stack — all running entirely client-side with zero backend dependencies.Core features: Create, rename, and delete mind maps with auto-save; full node editor (add/edit/delete, 6 preset colors, 3 shapes, 3 font sizes, emoji icons, line styles); collapsible side panel for per-node notes; minimap navigator; dark/light mode with a custom teal-and-amber palette; export to JSON, SVG, or plain-text outline; keyboard shortcuts for adding nodes, duplicating, and undo/redo; collapse/expand branches; focus mode and presentation mode for stepping through a map.Why it's a good flip: Zero runtime credits — fully client-side, no API calls, no authentication, no backend. No ongoing maintenance burden. Distinctive visual identity (deep teal/amber, not a generic template look). More feature depth than a typical MVP — undo/redo, minimap, and presentation mode are not trivial to rebuild from scratch.

offline-first with zero runtime cost is just correct engineering for a canvas tool

radial layout falls apart the second you go past ten nodes.

offline is pointless without any sync option

zero runtime cost crushes subscription competitors, smart angle.
