Every sleep sound app I tried was the same shape: a library of MP3s streamed from a server, picked by someone else, wrapped in confident language about what it does to your brain. You can't change any of it. That annoyed me enough to spend a year building the opposite. What it does differently: there are no audio files in Nocturne.
