pdf2md converts PDF files into clean Markdown entirely inside the browser. Because the parsing runs client-side, the document is never uploaded to a server and no account is required.It keeps the structure most converters lose: tables come out as real Markdown table syntax rather than space-separated text, and heading levels map to the matching number of hash marks. A single file can be up to 1,000 pages.Built for people moving documents into a knowledge base or an LLM pipeline — papers into Obsidian, specs into Notion, reports into a vector store — where not uploading the file matters as much as the conversion quality.
