About

Project DNA is a complete, source-code-included web app that helps people evaluate small internet businesses before buying them: micro-SaaS products, indie apps, Chrome extensions and content sites.A user submits a project: a description, optional financials, a public URL, a public GitHub repo and supporting documents. They get a structured due-diligence report. Every finding is labelled Observed, Seller-reported, Inferred or Unknown, and cites its evidence. The app never produces a single made-up “investment score”. Missing data shows as “Insufficient evidence” rather than a guess. What’s includedMarketing site, dashboard, project intake form, report viewer, evidence viewer and a grounded AI analyst chatSide-by-side project comparisonRisk register, financial metrics, revenue stress tests and valuation scenarios (with no invented market multiples)Seller question list and acquisition checklistPlan limits and usage tracking, ready for billing to be added (billing is not connected)A sample report and a clearly labelled demo mode that runs with no API keysTech: Next.js 16 (App Router), TypeScript (strict), Tailwind, Supabase (Postgres, Auth, Storage), Anthropic Claude via the official SDK, Zod, Recharts.Security and quality: Row Level Security on every table, with 24 adversarial checks passing on PostgreSQL 16. Server-side validation, and a fetching layer hardened against server-side request forgery (SSRF). 112 unit tests and 8 browser tests pass.Honest status: this is a finished MVP with no users and no revenue. The AI integration is implemented and tested with simulated models. The buyer brings their own Anthropic key, and I haven’t run it against the live API or a hosted Supabase project. A one-hour setup and smoke-test checklist is included. You receive: the full source code, the database migrations, the documentation and the logo.

price point feels high for a niche tool

source code included is a plus, but I'd want to know more about the stack and architecture behind it.
