Squish is a privacy-first browser video compressor where all encoding runs directly in the user's browser using WebAssembly. Files never upload to a backend server, which keeps server-side processing costs near zero regardless of usage.The project has early traction with 242 active users year-to-date and 1.8K+ tracked events, with traffic coming from unpaid direct, referral, directory, and organic discovery.
