Strand is a fully encrypted messaging app built for people who want theirprivate conversations to actually stay private — couples, families, andclose friend groups, not public group chats.Built from the ground up with AES-256 encryption, Strand includes voiceand video calls, vanishing messages, biometric lock, screenshot blocking,and an offline message queue. It supports dedicated "Spaces" for couplesand families with up to 100 members, nicknames, reactions, messageediting, pinning, @mentions, and full call history — all the featurespeople expect from modern messaging, minus the ad-driven data collectionmodel.The app is fully built and tested end-to-end on physical Android devices.It's not yet on Google Play or the App Store — currently distributingvia direct APK to early Founding Members while I fund the store listings.Premium roadmap in progress: sticker packs, a couple loyalty notificationsystem, offline mesh networking (Bluetooth/WiFi Direct) for messagingwithout internet, and an SOS safety feature that broadcasts an emergencyalert with live location to nearby Strand users even when offline —built with a disaster-resilience and personal safety angle in mind.Looking for: early users, feedback, potential co-founder/technicalcollaborator interest, or funding/acquisition conversations.
