VIBE is a real time discovery app designed to answer one simple question“What’s the best thing I could do right now?”Instead of searching through endless lists, maps, ratings, and reviews, VIBE instantly recommends places and experiences based on where you are, what time it is, your interests, your mood, and what is happening around you.The goal is not to build another directory of places. VIBE is designed to make discovering what to do feel instant, visual, personal, and emotional.The Moment experienceAt the heart of VIBE is Moment, an immersive swipe based discovery feed.Rather than asking users to choose a category first, Moment can mix different experiences that make sense right now, a beach for the afternoon, a rooftop before sunset, a restaurant for dinner, a cocktail bar later in the evening, a nightclub at night, a cultural spot, an activity, or a local event.Each recommendation is presented through large, immersive photography with only the information that matters, atmosphere, distance, opening hours, location and contextual information related to the current moment.VIBE can therefore go beyond simply saying where to go and explain why now is a good moment to go.For example“Sunset in 18 minutes.”“Perfect time for a drink by the sea.”“Open until 1 AM.”The experience should feel closer to discovering something than performing a search.Swipe, Like & FavoriteInteractions are deliberately simple.Swipe right / ❤️ Like means “I’m interested in this.”A Like does not save the place to Favorites. Instead, it becomes a signal that helps VIBE understand the user’s tastes and progressively improve future recommendations.Swipe left / ✕ Pass means “Not for me right now.”VIBE immediately moves to another recommendation while also learning from that interaction.⭐ Favorite is a separate and intentional action.Only tapping the star saves a place to the user’s Favorites, allowing them to easily find it again later.This distinction is important❤️ Like = teach VIBE what you like✕ Pass = help VIBE refine your recommendations⭐ Favorite = save a place for laterPersonalized discoveryWhen users first join VIBE, they select their interests and the types of experiences they enjoy.The main Moment feed remains broad and surprising, allowing users to discover different kinds of places rather than trapping them inside a single category.When users swipe down, they access a more personalized discovery experience based initially on the interests selected during onboarding and progressively enriched by their Likes, Passes, Favorites and previous interactions.The more someone uses VIBE, the more relevant the experience should become.The idea is that VIBE gradually understands not only what you like, but what you might want at this particular moment.A visual first experiencePhotography is central to VIBE.Places are presented through multiple immersive images designed to communicate the atmosphere before the user even reads the description.The interface intentionally avoids clutter, large photography, minimal text, fluid gestures and a dark, premium visual identity.VIBE should not feel like a database.It should feel like a friend who knows the area, knows what you like and immediately has an idea for what you should do next.Starting with the French RivieraFor the current testing and validation phase, VIBE is focused on the French Riviera (Côte d’Azur).The app is being built around a curated database of local beaches, restaurants, rooftops, bars, nightlife, activities, cultural locations and events across the area.Starting with a concentrated geographic market allows VIBE to validate the recommendation system, user experience, personalization, data quality and engagement before expanding further.The Côte d’Azur is therefore the testing ground for the concept, not the limit of the product.The long term visionThe ambition is to expand VIBE city by city and eventually make it a global real time discovery platform.Whether someone is at home or travelling somewhere completely new, they should be able to open VIBE and immediately discover what is worth doing around them without spending 20 minutes comparing Google Maps results, TikTok recommendations, reviews and different websites.Ultimately, VIBE is not about helping people search for places.It is about helping them discover the right experience, at the right place, at the right moment.
