A few months ago, I had an expensive gadget fail just after I bought it. I knew it was still under warranty, but finding the receipt turned into a nightmare. The thermal paper had faded, I couldn't remember the exact purchase date, and I wasted more time searching than the repair was worth. That experience made me realize how scattered all of this information is. Receipts are in emails, PDFs, WhatsApp messages, shopping apps, drawers, and sometimes nowhere at all.
