WathRides is a Kashmir-focused ride-hailing platform designed to connect passengers with local cab and auto-rickshaw drivers through a simple, locally tailored experience.The platform is built around the idea of “Wath,” meaning path, way, or road in Kashmiri. It combines a Kashmir-inspired brand identity with a modern ride-booking experience.The current product prototype includes passenger and driver modes, ride requesting and acceptance, cab and auto options, fare calculation, driver status updates, ride tracking, cancellation, ride completion, earnings history, responsive mobile design, and Google Maps integration.WathRides is currently being developed toward a real-world launch, with the initial focus on Kashmir and a cash-based payment model.The goal is to build a reliable local transportation platform that makes booking rides straightforward for passengers while providing local drivers with another way to find and manage rides.
