About

Wisp Gallery is a gallery plugin for WordPress site owners who show photos or portfolios, and for designers and agencies building client sites with the block editor. How it works: add the Filterable Gallery block, choose images, post queries or media queries, and pick a layout. A separate Gallery Filter block lets visitors filter by Gallery Categories; filter changes animate with View Transitions.Features: five layouts (masonry, justified rows, grid, carousel and accordion) with columns, row height and aspect ratio per device; a Gallery Filter block with buttons or a dropdown, counts and multi-select; Gallery Categories for images, posts and pages, mixed in one gallery; a native dialog lightbox with swipe, keyboard and captions; reveal-on-scroll effects without JavaScript; about 3 KB of JavaScript to start, no jQuery and no dependencies (core blocks and the Interactivity API); free importers from Envira Gallery, NextGEN Gallery, Modula and FooGallery with replacement shortcodes; patterns, a Gallery Categories archive template, commands and Abilities API support; translations into German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch and Portuguese (Brazil).Pricing: the complete plugin is free forever on wordpress.org, with no ads. Wisp Gallery Pro (from $2.99/month) adds videos (Media Library, YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Instagram), load more, albums and WooCommerce products in the lightbox. Galleries keep working if a Pro license lapses.
