This started because I kept trying to work from my iPad against the Mac at home, and every remote desktop app gave me the same thing: my entire desktop squeezed into one rectangle with a pretend cursor to steer around. What I actually wanted was three specific Mac windows. The rest of the desktop could stay home. So that's what WorkPane does.
