About
Apogee is a Chrome extension that brings AI legal research to your browser sidebar. Ask a question about Canadian law, and it searches the CanLII database — finding relevant cases, checking citations, and pulling legislation across all jurisdictions (SCC, Federal courts, provincial courts, and tribunals). Every answer includes proper legal citations and direct links to the full text on CanLII. When you're reading a case on canlii.org, Apogee detects which case you're viewing and offers contextual follow-ups like "Has this been overturned?" or "What legislation does this reference?" Built for lawyers, law students, paralegals, and researchers. Two plans: Starter at $1/month (50 queries/day) and Pro at $19/month (unlimited queries with better AI models). Key features: - Searches all Canadian jurisdictions via the CanLII API - Proper legal citations with direct source links - Context-aware when browsing canlii.org - Runs as a Chrome side panel — no tab switching needed - Suggested prompts for common legal research tasks
