so it's essentially a prettier frontend for free streams you can already find elsewhere? makes sense i guess, organization matters. but kinda wondering how many of these "free online tv channels" actually work reliably without buffering into oblivion. also what's the channel count looking like, 500 channels where 490 are random cambodian news feeds and religious programming? always the catch with these aggregators
Aggregating free streams feels like herding cats, URLs break constantly, sources come and go. What's the infrastructure look like for keeping the channel index alive? Automated health checks, manual curation, some ML-driven approach? Also genuinely curious how you plan to monetize without just double-layering ads on content that's already ad-supported. Seems like a thin margin between "useful tool" and "nuisance middleman.
So it's essentially a UI wrapper around free content, what's stopping the streaming sources from pulling the plug or just building their own discovery layer?
