Been waiting for something like this to actually be usable. Browser-based audio editors usually choke on anything beyond a simple trim job, so the multitrack claim is ambitious. How does it handle larger projects, like 10+ tracks with effects chains? That's where browser tools tend to fall apart, memory gets eaten up fast. The open-source angle is great though, and honestly if it can handle basic podcast editing and mixing without making me download Audacity yet again, that's a win. Would love to know if there's any offline capability or if it's strictly dependent on an internet connection.

Web-based audio editors always make me skeptical about latency and performance with larger projects. What's the stack here, pure Web Audio API or are they leveraging WASM for the heavy lifting? Honestly struggling to see the market fit when Audacity exists offline and Soundtrap has the collaborative niche locked down.

Cool that it's open-source, but how's the latency when you're layering tracks in a browser? Feels like Audacity already owns this space for free audio editing, what's the actual advantage here besides not having to download anything?

How does this hold up against Audacity for real production work? Browser-based editors usually struggle with latency and larger files.

Curious what's powering the audio processing under the hood, pure Web Audio API or is there WASM involved for the heavier lifting?
