I am a solo developer, and I’ve been building a news app called Sift. The idea came from a frustration I had with most personalized news products: they ask whether you like broad categories like technology, business, politics, or sports. But those are just too big. I might care about OpenAI, but not every single AI story. I might want updates about India, a particular policy, a company, a person, or one ongoing geopolitical event.
