Subtitle Check is a free browser-based SRT review tool from CSV Match Studio. Open a UTF-8 SRT file or paste subtitles, set your review limits, and download a findings report as CSV. No login or subtitle upload is needed.It checks malformed timestamps, invalid durations, duplicate cue IDs, ordering, overlaps, reading speed, line length and lines per cue. A synthetic example and a short guide explain the flags and how characters per second are counted. Files are limited to 1 MiB and 10,000 blocks.The report highlights places to review; it does not transcribe, translate, rewrite, retime or check speech alignment. Established free alternatives such as Subtitle Edit offer more extensive editing features.Feedback wanted: Which flags fit your caption review workflow? Which are noisy? Would a combined report for a folder of SRT files help a client handoff? Please use invented examples rather than confidential captions when reporting issues.This is a working public preview. A separate US$19 offline folder-check edition is only being explored and is not available for sale. No customers, traffic or revenue are claimed.
